E-ako Maths

Today for E-ako maths I had to work on fractions. This has helped me a lot with fractions because it tell me how much you can shared between 1- 5 people equally. I think I can refer to this sometime's by give equal pieces to friends and making sure it right.

Today I have recently done the activity called E-ako maths. For this I find what I already know about Fairs Shares and find what other characters has the closest meaning. I have enjoying doing this activity because this could help me and improve in my maths.

Here is a screenshot of me playing E-ako maths. For me I had to play an online game that involves maths. this was quite an easy game but there a times that it's was hard. I didn't quite finish this but at least I tried. 

Solving 6, 7 and 8 using our 5 time tables.

This is a DLO that I made to explain what we had use to solve problems. Our learning Intention was to answer 6,7 and 8 time table using my 5 times tables. This was a independent task for me and for other to. This was quite easy to understand and how we solve problem like this. 

Mathletics

Today for maths my maths group and I played a game on the court called Mathletic. We had to work with a buddy, my buddy was Afu.We had to answer 24 maths questions.To play this game you will need a pen, a pad paper, and yourself and your partner. First we had to get our question after we got our paper we had to run to the end of the court then answer our first question. June and I had a easy question to answer, the question was what comes one before and after 7, 531, the answer is7,530 7,531 7,532. Then we needed to go to Tiare or Mrs D so that they can check the answer, when you get it right you get another question and run to the end of the court, then come back to your partner and answer the question.

This is my results with the game have just played. With this game you have to beat the timer that goes for 60 seconds and which ever times table you want to beat the time with. 

PBS Flag Votes

Here is a DLO that I have created. I made this by using a google drawing and also using google spreadsheets. In this post, I have included a bar graph that has information about keeping the our flag or getting another flag. This was an interesting choice because I had to choose between these two different flags and I have made my choice by keeping our original flag. 

Caterpillar Maths Game

This is my results from doing a multiplication basic facts. I had to complete and achieve this by doing learning my time table. This was really fun because you get to do challenges with each other.

Finding Out About LS2 - June & Sakae

My and partner and I worked collaboratively to create this bar graph. It shows many kids in LS2 have brothers and sisters. To find out this information we planned, carried out and analysed the data we gathered. The most interesting thing was that most of the students in LS2 have both brothers and sisters.

Today for maths we had a problem to solve. Today I was surprised that I was stuck on doing subtractions and that I need more work on, So tomorrow I'll have to be working with my teacher so she can help me.

Fast Factors

Today I was practicing my 6x table. I played the game 'Fast Factors'. Each time I tried my best to beat my previous time. As you can see my best time was 26 seconds.

This is my Comparison of my blog post from 2013-2015. This shows amount of blog post that I did from the beginning of when I started my new school. I made this by using Google draw and by making the graph for my Comparison. This poster mainly shows how many blog post I have. Also this includes many reasons why my blog post have been dropping. My highest blog post was in 2013 that I have made up to 22 blog post. I learned about how I can make my blog post can be approved and making wise choices.

Addition Poster

This is our groups Addition poster. Each group has a different maths symbol that represents something. Each box in the poster explains the sign of Addition. We have learnt ways to solve numbers. They way you could solve addition problems by using + by adding a number together to create the answer. Another way to solve maths is try to figure the answer out my using a maths symbol that relate to your answer.
